What Does God say about prejudice?

Merriam-Webster defines prejudice as: “injury or damage resulting from some judgment or action of another in disregard of one's rights;preconceived judgment or opinion; or an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge.” So, prejudice is an opinion formed before the proper amount of thought or reasoning has occurred, which causes some injury or damage. Let’s look at a few verses on reasoning and thoughtful action: Is 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” and Prov 4:26-27, “Ponder the path of thy feet, and l

What does God say about religion?

When we allow man’s ideas of religion to turn us away from God’s will for our lives, we will not enter into God’s eternal family, Matt 12:50, “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Following the Spirit leads to eternal life, Rom 8:13-14, “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” When we set up our own rituals and worship them rather than God, we are left with burnt offerings and the symbols of religion, Mic 6:6-8, “Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow m

What does God say about these last days?

Two thousand years ago Jesus became the perfect lamb and was sacrificed for our sins, 1 Pet 1:18-20, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,” and He will return to claim His eternal family, Jn 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for

What Does God Say About Christ In You?

We humans create so many laws no one is able to obey them all, thus creating the illusion God’s laws are impossible to keep, Matt 19:7-8, “They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” Ultimately, we want what we want, so we harden our hearts and add to God’s simple laws until we can have what we want. But, God keeps it simple, when we have Christ in us, we don’t need any other laws because we will be living the fruit of the Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, lo

What does God say about the plan He has seen for us?

A New Year, a new plan, a new beginning, or is it? Are we supposed to change our plan every year? Or, has God already seen the best plan for each of us? God and His plan never change, only our understandings of them change. Would it not be better to seek the plan God has seen and work on the process of daily transforming our lives to align with His plan than to try to create our own new plan each year? God’s individual plan for each of us is part of the greater plan God chose to create His eternal family, which is the plan with the least amount of pain and suffering for all involved, Rom 8:18, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the gl
